Friendship
Is there friendship?
Do you enjoy being together?
How much do you know about each other?
Do both of you know the likes and dislikes of each other?
Do you miss your friend?
What is it you miss?
What do you miss most about them?
Do you miss their smile? jokes? laughter? Or just being around them knowing they will encourage you every step of the way?
Why do you miss them?
I miss a friend of mine
There is something about our friendship that is different than any of my past friendships.
This friend has a special place in my heart
I will just follow my heart and what God is telling me...
Thank you everyone for being there for me through the tough times while I was at the Honor Academy.
When my friend committed suicide, going through my first holidays without my grandpa, and worries about everything that were going on at home. Your prayers are greatly heard. God is faithful to supply ALL you need in His timing. You will hear from HIM when He feels you need to know.... I am here for you if you need me....

Prayer
Sometimes you wish when you pray your requests would be answered just in the timing you desire for them to be, but have you thought may God has you waiting for a specific length of time? May He wants to see how strong your faith is for Him. He loves you and has the very best in mind for you. Prayer has been left out of so many things. One of which is schools, why did it have to get to that point? How can some people not see the importance in prayer? God has so much waiting for you. If only you would go before Him and ask. If you are praying for or about something, first ask God if it is His will that you have it. Truly think about that... Not everything you ask for will be God's will for you. Ask for God's will to be made present in your life..
Luke 11:9 "And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened."

Many of you might not have known how I was in need of money for my college textbooks. My books for the classes aren't cheap. All praises go to the Lord!! I received $300 today!! I now have money for all my books and more. I think the Lord for providing for my needs. Don't forget He can do the same for you.
Keep praying and expect Him to do something grand. Don't limit God for anything. He will prove Himself faithful. Call upon Him for strength, comfort, energy, understanding, wisdom, and most importantly His presence to pour down upon you. If you are calling upon Him for something and you aren't getting any response. It is most likely not His timing for whatever it is or He desires for you to keep calling upon Him for help and guidence for whatever it is. Don't give up! God can do anything!!
He is our Father and wants us to run to Him for anything. You are His child!

Why Did I Cry?
What is going on in my heart?
I noticed last night a feeling within myself didn't seem right
Did I know why I was crying? No!
An event occurred that night I would not know about until later
Why did I cry?
Why did I feel the pain?
I don't understand!
Is there a connection?

God, can You please explain to me what is going on?
I know what, but why?
Never have I had a friendship with someone so important to me

I run to the Son for I need Him to shine down on me. Father, guide me as I go through a time of prayer. What I am praying about is important and I don't want to make any decision out of Your will, O Father! It is too special.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Father, Help me! I have never had anyone see it so important before. I don't know how I should be thinking or feeling. Don't get me wrong there is something within my heart that I am trying to figure out.
I have been taking that to God and He is guiding me through it all.

Have any of you stopped to think about what life is all about? I have been thinking about the people who just go through life not knowing why they are here. They go down a path and when they get to a fork in the road they don't know what to do. Have you been searching for the purpose of your life? Is there anyone out there who feels this way?
Let me tell you this:
...God loves you and has an great plan for your life.
The Bible says, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the LORD. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'"
Also, the Bible says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
... But Sin(the bad things we do)is what separates us from God.
The Bible says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God"
Also, the Bible says, "For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
... Jesus paid it
all on the cross so that you can know and experience God's plan for your life(yes, He did die for all, but He would have died even if you were the only one on the face of this earth).
The Bible says, "But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."
Also, the Bible says, "Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.'"
... You must indivdually decide to commit to follow Jesus as Lord and Savior, then you can know and experience God's plan for your life. You have to make the decision for yourself.
The Bible says, "For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."
Also, the Bible says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."
saved= turning your life around and living for God with mind, body, and soul.
After reading this post you have decided to make a commitment to follow God just say this prayer to your Father in Heaven: Lord, I know I have sinned against You. I believe in my heart that You came, died, and rose again on the third day. I commit to live a life devoted to You. Forgive me, Lord, come into my life and make me a new creation. Amen.
If you have any questions, I encourage you to find a church that teachs from the Bible, and where you know you can grow in your faith. Read your Bible (if you don't have one I have no doubts you can find someone who does or go to a Christian book store and purchase one). Pray to God, as a friend not a master (He desires so much to "know" you). And most importantly, if you have truly made this a life changing decision go and tell everyone about the change the Lord has done in your life.
Also, if you have any prayer needs. Let me know and I can have many pray for you whatever the need. I think you for taking the time to read this post. May the Lord bless you!

Where is your Judah? Where is your Samaria? And you know where the outer most parts are. Are you called there also? Take your position on the battlefield! We need your help! Will you help the ones fighting for the freedom of lost souls? See you now the battlefield....

I had the opportunity to eat Vietnamese food today. It was delicious!! You should all try some. The noodles are wonderful!

I had my first day of work today. The children are so cute. Here are their names: Madison, Triechelle, Amber, and Tyler (in the infant room); and the children in the 3-4 year old room.

Guess what? I have a job!!! I'm working with children again, but not at the same place as before. I'm now working at Star Station Academy. Where my mom and dad work. I was called today and I start working tomorrow. Be praying that my cough goes away fast. Thanks for your prayers. : )

Can anyone hear my pain? Does anyone understand what I am going through? Does anyone care? Is there anyone who is going through the same thing? Maybe we can help each other. I am searching for someone who cares and I can find the Son, but where are the others who are supposed to fight the fight with me? Where have you all gone? Or have you decided to leave all your convictions at the door step of the Honor Academy or wherever else? Are you staying true to what the Lord has called you to do when you are home or away from family? Do you care what God wants for you or do you just want to do what you want to do? Am I alone or will I have people who are faithful to respond to the call of Jesus Christ? Where are the ones God speaks about?
Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
The FAITHFUL worshipers!
Luke 10:2 "The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few. Pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest, and ask him to send out more workers for his fields."
Where are the faithful workers of the King of Kings? He is worthy of our lives. Are you willing to give up your life's dreams and passions to spread the gospel around the world? If God has chosen you, please follow Him! :( They (the people you are called to talked to) are waiting for you to come and share the gospel with them.
My heart cries out for the people who will not hear of the gospel, because you would rather be comfortable then be out of your comfort zone.

Memories
It hurts to see what might be going on around me. I can't explain, but the Lord has called me for such a time as this. At this time I have been called to talk to two people I am very close to about something very important to many of us. All I can think about was how it used to be.
It is hard being back in my old surroundings, but the Lord blessed me today. How you might ask? I debated about going to the College/Career Sunday school class this morning, but the Lord had something there that I needed to hear. I bumped into a old friend named Whitney. I hadn't seen her for about 3 years. So, we were given an opportunity to reconnect and she is doing everything God has laid on my heart to do. I told her if she ever needed anyone to take her place whenever she was out of town I would be kind enough to take her place. She asked me for advice about a girl in her Bible Study who was struggling with a weight problem. I suggested the book by Katie Luce, The Pursuit of Beauty. I hope and pray that book and the Lord's leading will carry this girl through her tough time. Pray for Whitney that she would have the right words to say to the young girl in her Bible study. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I would love to hear from you all. I miss you all very much.

This is how I felt when I went shopping with my mom. Don't get me wrong I love and have missed my family, but it is just so different being the only one around who just off and on has odd feelings about things that are going on in the world. I don't even know if I am even explaining that right.
Just to give you an example: I went to Wal-Mart with my mom to night and we went to the isle that had gerbil food and there were these two guys who seemed to me that they were up to something illegal, so I went to someone who worked in Wal-Mart and suggested to him that he might want to keep an eye out on those guys. I knew that if I didn't do something I would have felt horrible.
One thing that just broke my heart was before we even walked into Wal-Mart I saw three young guys sitting outside smoking. I just felt the sudden need to pray for them. They were blowing smoke into each others faces. They are going to end up killing each other if they keep that going. Please be praying for them. I don't know what their names were, but God does and that is all that matters.
It is so different being home and noticing the way I have changed already.
My mom is asking me about how she should be having her quiet times, and I am encouraging her to start journaling. Please be praying for her, she is feeling she has wasted 50 years or so of her life thinking her relationship with the Lord was the way she wanted it. She has soon realized that she wants something so much stronger. She desires it to be an initimate relationship with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ.
Pray the Lord will give me the right words to say to encourage her through her relationship with the Lord.

Do you think you are just being squeezed of all energy?
How did you feel throughout your year? Did you allow the Lord to squeeze out all things you have within you from the world? Are you letting the Lord to squeeze everything out of you in order for you to pour into others? Think about that, and I will to!
This post wasn't just for you, but as I have typed I have to really think about these questions as well as you. You all are amazing friends and i want you all to keep in touch with me and I will do my best on this end. I can't promise that while I'm in Vietnam that I will be able to keep in good contact with you. Please forgive if you lose contact keep trying I really want to know how you are doing.

August, you all rock the house!
Don't forget the good times we have had in the kitchen at Teen Mania. Life doesn't end here, it has only just begun! We, August, served in the kitchen one last time today. It was sad, but I felt at peace. It isn't a Goodbye. It's a "thank you": for all the times you have put up with bad attitudes, not so good days, lack of sleep which might have caused some to become moody, the love you have shown to people not only outside the kitchen (also within the kitchen), and for just being FAMILY! You all were my home away from home. Peace out K-crew. K-crew for LIFE!!!

This could be the last time you.....
look upon someone so in love with the Lord that it just drives you crazy and excited all at the same time
walk somewhere on campus and everyone knows your name
sit with people you love and love you most of all
sit for hours talking to a coremate or coworker about things of God and how to make our love relationship with the Lord stronger
work with people you love and every time you're having a rough day all you have to do is turn around and look to see that you are not alone in this world
see these wonderful people who have made such a difference in your life and you're just now realizing it
have the opportunity to tell them how much they mean to you. Go tell the people you love, "I love you and will miss you!"
What I would like to say to Lamadohana and K-crew is: You all have made a difference in my life and there are no words I can put together that can express how I feel about leaving you all.
