Are you ashamed of your past?
Why?
Are there actions you have taken that you wish you could take back?
If so, you can't take them back, but you can learn from them...
Are you going to allow your past to haunt you?
or
Are you going to allow yourself to learn from them?
Has he haunted you about your past?
Don't allow Satan to have a foot hold...
What is it that God has told you to tell someone?
Are you afraid that if you tell someone special you will lose them?
What truly do you have to be afraid of?
The worst thing that can happen is that they leave you, but think about it this way...you no longer give Satan the foot hold to keep haunting you...
As for me, I, too, made the decision to tell someone about my past actions...and well, he still loves me...I was afraid he would look at me different, but to be honest I know without a doubt this made our relationship stronger...

WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO BE AFRAID OF?

God knows what is best for you and everything will work out for His Glory...if He has told you to tell someone and you are afraid to do it...just trust God that everything will be in His hands...
Don't allow the fear of man to stop you from going forward in your purpose...the fear of your past can possibly hinder your ministry...I know you don't want that to happen, so what are you going to do about it?
